MiniBIS
is controlled with the included GelCapture software which runs under Windows 98
or later. Features include:

Control
of parameters of exposure time (integration), gain & brightness. Once
you have established optimum parameters for your own applications eg EtBr
stained gels you can store the parameters as a preset button for use in
future for instant setup

GelCapture displays a continously
updated live preview of the gel image on your PC screen for adjustment of
focus and exposure

Once
the user is satisfied with the gel image it can be cropped to a suitable
size and saved as a TIFF file for archival, later printing or analysis using
other software

The
image may be saved with the following options: 8/16bit, Super Resolution,
after applying a dust/spot filter, cropped to visible window

The
parameters of Scan Mode, Exposure Time, Gain, Brightness, Date, Time and
Filename can be saved with the image file for GMP applications

Other
functions include Print, Print Preview, Set camera settings to default,
Invert image, Fit to Window, Show Real Size, Zoom in/out upto x6, show image
full screen

GelQuant
software may be launched for immediate analysis of the current image
