GelCompar II

GelCompar is the most advanced 1-D gel analysis and comparison package available. Designed from the outset for large scale gel fingerprinting studies, GelCompar is now in use in more than 1000 leading laboratories world-wide and is widely accepted as the standard software for typing and epidemiological applications in public health and clinical microbiology.

GelCompar is a modular software as detailed below.  Users must purchase the Basic (database) module and then choose from 4 analysis modules and a database sharing tools module.  The minimum configuration is the Basic module + one analysis module. You may add any module at a later date if desired.

Comparison with BioNumerics

BioNumerics and GelCompar are the same software except that GelCompar is limited to the analysis of gel fingerprint data.  BioNumerics can analyse phenotypic characters and sequence data as well as gel data.

You can buy GelCompar first and migrate to BioNumerics later by just paying the difference in price.

Please contact us to discuss which modules are needed or desirable for your particular applications and to receive the pricelist.
